I'm a nonconformist person, moved by curisosity, who is always trying to learn a way to make things better, especially if one has said that it's hard (or impossible).
My answer is always a question: Let's try one more time?
When this design thing started
I like to gather people to create things. One day I discovered that this - professionally - was also called Design, so I became a designer. I got my graphic design degree, but never felt I could work only with one face of a discipline that is so plural. Today I call myself an interdisciplinary designer, solving all kinds of people's problems using Design as an approach.
What I have done so far
I always had an intrapreneur mindset for my tasks at work. I'm continuously looking for the big picture of situations, joining the strategic conversation, and connecting the dots to achieve unusual solutions.
For 12 years, I worked at Imaginarium, one of the biggest design and decoration brands in Brazil. There I had the amazing opportunity to work in different areas and could understand and act with the business in its integrity. I started as a Marketing intern, became a designer, and for my last 1,5 years there worked as the Head of Product Design, leading the teams of Design and Product Innovation in order to create products and experiences that could amuse the fans of the brand.

After this amazing journey, I decided that was time to gather everything I learned about Design, Retail, and Business Strategy to try new things in the world of digital products, a field that I was eager to know more about. And during the last year of this adventure, I had the opportunity to work both as a Service Designer and a User Researcher.

Today I work as a User Research Operations Lead at Natura &Co, with the aim of scaling and supporting our life-centered design vision across the company using research as a tool.
What I can do

From my experiences as a hands-on designer, strategic planner, and female team leader (yes, that makes a difference!) I could build a broad approach to what I do and how I deliver. Here is what I bring to the table:
Strategic Design
Creating value by Design. Building an environment where Design can be part of the business strategy with research and data to discover opportunities. I know how to use the business language to show the results Design can bring to a company.

Service Design
I understand that the only way of doing good Design is by centering it on people, with a holistic view, considering all the touchpoints of an experience. Service Design is all about it. To work with this mindset, I have the ability to facilitate conversations and workshops, understand journey and system maps to create services that matter to people and work for business.
User Research
Empathy with people to build products and experiences based on evidence. I can work from the discovery stage to the prototype of a product, with tests and iterations. I have a lot of experience doing this with physical products, something that can bring another view to the digital world.

People Management & Team Leadership
Developing teams with a shared vision that inspire and make them feel fulfilled at the same time they are delivering value to the company is a work that I love to do. I have 5 years of experience managing and mentoring people - making them grow and bringing results to the business.
